When a number is credited back, how to ask, and what cannot be refunded.

Yes, as balance credit. At RealSIM Numbers, a number that receives no code before its window ends, or that the service refuses, can be cancelled and its price, for example $1.12 for a US WhatsApp code in October 2026, returns to your balance. Top-ups are not paid back in crypto, except where the law requires it.

## What does that look like in practice?

You top up $20 and order a US WhatsApp number for $1.12; your balance shows $18.88. WhatsApp refuses the number, so you cancel: the $1.12 returns and the balance is back to $20. You order a second number, the code arrives, and that order is final.

The rule for a missing code is close to universal: nine of the twelve live providers we checked state some form of "no SMS, no charge".
