Across the six live US providers in the price index, the median US WhatsApp code was $1.50 on 2026-10-18, from $0.30 at Tiger SMS to $3.65 at PVAPins. Most providers apply a "no code, no charge" rule; they differ on reception windows (5 to 20 minutes where stated) and on whether a crypto deposit can be refunded.

Which service are you comparing?

What should I compare before switching?

  • Line type. Only some providers state on their own pages that their numbers are SIM-based (TextVerified, Tiger SMS, PVAPins); 5SIM labels its US operators "virtual".
  • The price of the exact service and country. A WhatsApp code costs three to five times a Google code at most providers.
  • The rule when no code arrives, and how long the window lasts.
  • What happens to a deposit. TextVerified does not refund crypto payments and Tell A Bot calls deposits final; two closures in a year show why balances should stay small.

Compare with a real order

US WhatsApp $1.12; UK WhatsApp $1.35.
