No-KYC non-VoIP numbers: what we collect and why
No identity documents, but clear rules: what an account contains and what we ask of you.
What do we collect?
| Data | Collected? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Yes | Sign-in and password reset |
| Password | Stored hashed | Sign-in |
| Top-ups (coin, network, amount, transaction) | Yes | Crediting the balance and support |
| Orders and the SMS they received | Yes, for a limited period | Showing the code and handling disputes |
| Identity documents or selfie | No | Not requested |
| Postal address or phone number | No | Not requested |
| Card details | No | Crypto only |
What does "no KYC" mean here?
"No KYC" means no identity check when you sign up, top up or order: no ID upload, no selfie, no proof of address. It does not mean anonymity. An account still has an email address and payment records, the blockchain records every transfer, and we answer valid legal requests under the law that applies to us.
Which rules still apply?
Honest uses only: keeping your own number private, testing an app, signing up from abroad or separating work and personal accounts. Fraud, impersonation, spam and taking over accounts that are not yours are forbidden.
Accounts used against these rules are closed. Read the full acceptable use policy.
What do other providers ask for at sign-up?
| Provider | Sign-up and identity, as written on its pages |
|---|---|
| RealSIM Numbers | Email and password; no ID, no selfie, no documents |
| Tell A Bot | Email and password |
| SMSPVA | Links an AML/KYC policy page |
| TextVerified | Not stated |
| PVAPins | Not stated |
| HeroSMS | Not stated |
Read on 2026-10-18. "Not stated" means the pages we read did not mention identity checks.
None of the provider pages we read on that date asks customers to upload an identity document; Tell A Bot describes its sign-up as "just email and password", and SMSPVA links an AML/KYC policy page from its footer.
Why do some countries require ID for SIM cards?
Several countries require an identity check when a prepaid SIM is activated. That rule applies to whoever activates the SIM, not to the person who receives one code on it through our service.
Checked on 2026-10-18; details and all sources on each country page.
Who is this for?
People who would rather not upload identity documents to receive one SMS code: developers testing sign-up flows, travellers, people keeping their personal number private and small teams separating work accounts.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to verify my identity?
No. RealSIM Numbers asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents: an email and a password open an account. The acceptable use policy still applies to every order.
How do I pay?
Top up your balance in crypto (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC or TRX), from $20. Each number is then paid from that balance. See pay with crypto.
Do you ask for my phone number?
No. You do not need a phone number of your own to use the service.
