What is a non-VoIP number?

A phone number that carrier databases classify as mobile, because it belongs to a SIM card on a mobile network. Internet-only numbers are classified as VoIP. See what is a non-VoIP number.

Is a non-VoIP number always accepted?

No. A non-VoIP number is classed as mobile in carrier databases, which most sign-up forms accept, but each service sets its own rules and can still refuse a number. If that happens, cancel the order and the price goes back to your balance.

How much does a number cost?

From $0.36 per code in the United States (WhatsApp $1.12), as of October 2026. Every country is on the pricing page.

Which countries are available?

United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Ireland. Stock changes during the day.

How do I pay?

Top up your balance in crypto (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC or TRX), from $20. Each number is then paid from that balance. See pay with crypto.

Do I need to verify my identity?

No. RealSIM Numbers asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents: an email and a password open an account. The acceptable use policy still applies to every order.

What happens if no code arrives?

If no SMS arrives before the window ends, or the service refuses the number, cancel the order: the price goes back to your balance as credit. You are not charged for a number that received no code.

Can I use the same number again later?

A single-use number is for one code from one service. It is not kept for you afterwards, so do not use it for an account you need to recover later. For a number you keep for days or weeks, see the US rentals.

Can I keep a number?

Yes, in the United States: rent a number for 7 or 30 days, for one service (from $2.25) or for any service ($16.49 for 30 days).

Can I receive calls or send SMS?

No. Numbers receive SMS only.

Can I use a number for my bank?

No. Banking, payment and government services are not supported: those accounts need a number you keep for years.

Are free non-VoIP numbers a good idea?

Free numbers on public websites show every SMS to every visitor and are reused by many people, so services often block them and anyone can read your code. See free non-VoIP numbers.

Do you offer an API?

Not publicly yet. Write to [email protected] if you need one.

Who runs RealSIM Numbers?

RealSIM Numbers is a non-VoIP (real SIM) provider of virtual phone numbers for receiving SMS, paid in crypto with no ID upload. See about.
