What does Tell A Bot say about refunds?
Tell A Bot says "You pay only after a verification SMS has been received", so a number that stays silent costs nothing. Its refund policy treats deposits differently: "all payments are considered final and non-refundable once confirmed on the network." In practice both services work the same way for a missing code (no charge) and for a deposit (it stays as balance), so size each top-up to what you will use.
How long do I have to receive the code?
Tell A Bot gives "15 minutes to receive a verification code before the number expires". What happens if no code arrives?
If no SMS arrives before the window ends, or the service refuses the number, cancel the order: the price goes back to your balance as credit. You are not charged for a number that received no code.
